MBHB is seeking a DMS and Systems Administrator who will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, operations, documentation, and validation of all DMS components in an iManage DMS system as well as the desktop user experience. This position will coordinate and implement upgrades and maintenance of applications, application servers, application databases, and integration components of the DMS, as well as additional SQL Server systems. Microsoft Windows, Mac, all desktop applications, and remote access technology, including VPN and Cloud Desktops.
DMS and Systems Administrator Job Requirements:
Act as the subject matter expert on DMS applications, including planning, testing, configuration, debugging, integration and implementation.
Monitor all components of the DMS environment for performance and stability.
Define, analyze and execute diagnostic and update scripts to troubleshoot and/or address application or specific problems.
Develop and execute queries to mine information at the request of application administrator(s) or Firm Management.
Coordinate backup and recovery strategies for all DMS databases in accordance with Firm standards.
Control and monitor access to the databases through the design and implementation of database security measures.
Document and maintain all DMS applications, associated components and users, including analyzing updates & upgrades, and making recommendations for implementation.
Interface with Imanage and other vendors as appropriate to resolve problems.
Responsible for one or more SQL environments, database maintenance, and SQL backups.
Maintain Data Warehouse Accounting Databases and extend the Data Warehouse Architecture. ( Aderant or Elite)
Create automated processes that will import/export data to and from the SQL server environment using SSIS.
Responsible for all SQL backups.
Provide 24x7 support for DMS Applications issues on a rotating basis. Be able to respond to calls within ½ hour and access the system within 1 hour.
Minor SharePoint administration.
Responsible for the configuration of the Microsoft suite of products on the desktop
Responsible for all add-in products on the desktop including but not limited to PDF tools, Microsoft Word add-ins, and desktop fax tools.
Research new desktop products that may enhance the Firm’s ability to produce and store documents.
Responsible for desktop and laptop security. Test and performs the controlled deployment of Microsoft Security patches for desktops and laptops.
Analyzes technology requirements and develops functional specifications. Conducts comparative analysis and competitive bidding when necessary.
Develops and maintains technology policies, standards and procedures manual; develops and maintains related technology checklists.
Ensures compliance with all desktop software licensing agreements. Manages and safeguards software media and associated licenses. Tracks software versions. Maintains centralized software use log.
Develops annual desktop technology goals and detailed plans for goal accomplishment.
Respects confidentiality in discussing staff, volunteer and Firm matters; also maintains confidentiality of project, fiscal and personnel related information.
Maintains knowledge on current technology by reading technology periodicals, evaluating new technologies and attending trade-shows, technical seminars and training sessions.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or experience.
A minimum of 3 years of direct experience in DMS implementation, engineering, and administration.
A minimum of 5 years of experience working in the Windows Server Environment.
A minimum of 5 years of SQL 2005/2008/2012 Server experience including SSIS.
Experience with a software deployment technology.
Must have experience with Active Directory and Group Policy maintenance
Must be willing to work with other members of the IS department as necessary to troubleshoot desktop-related issues.
Must be willing to work with users as necessary to troubleshoot desktop-related issues.
Keep up-to-date on patches and security fixes available for our workstation Operating Systems.
Experience with Office 2010 & 2013
Experience with Windows 7, Windows 8 and Mac
Experience with Windows server 2008 and above.
Some Linux is a plus.
