Experience: Four-year degree in marketing or communications
Within the operations team of the Marketing Department, the marketing technology specialist is responsible for management and delivery of both large and small scale technologies that integrate marketing processes and deliverables for both the marketing team and our internal clients across the firm.
Saul Ewing has made significant investments in implementing a number of marketing technology platforms to help enable and drive deep value for internal and external clients. The marketing technology specialist is charged with helping ensure these technologies are understood, well integrated and widely adopted within the marketing department and across the firm.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing Operations, this person will have 5 to 7 years of professional information services and/or marketing experience and carry deep experience and understanding of the key marketing technologies being used in professional services marketing today including:
Customer Relationship Management software
Database and knowledge management technologies
List and contact management services/technologies
Proposal management tools
HTML, CSS, Web Applications, RSS and XML
WebEx and/or other webcasting technologies
Specific responsibilities may include but will not be limited to:
Oversight and training on the firm’s proposal, experience and opportunity management tools and processes for team use and support
Integration management of firm databases
Integration of contact management activities (alerts, newsletters, emails, etc.) with reporting and measurement needs of the marketing team.
Collaboration with and management of outside vendors
Development and maintenance support of firm intranet using SharePoint
Four-year degree in marketing or communications with deep experience in marketing technology systems; OR
Bachelor’s degree in information systems/technology with experience in marketing or communications in a professional service environment.
Meticulous attention to detail
Experience managing proposal and RFP automation in a professional services environment
Demonstrated understanding of business development, marketing, website and event marketing
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) is required.
