Performs difficult and responsible professional administrative, financial, statistical, policy and other management and legislative analyses in support of departmental or District/SNWA activities, functions and programs; represents the District/SNWA in meetings with other public agencies, planning committees, legislators, business and community representatives; and performs related duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to organize and interpret a wide range of information and use the findings to make proposals and write protocols and procedures; have excellent oral and written communication skills; have time management and project management experience; capable of working in a team environment and with a wide range of authority levels; and possess the skills needed to contribute to change management initiatives.
Certification as Information Governance Professional (IGP), Certified Records Manager (CRM), and/or Agile Scrum Master are highly desirable, but not required.
Graduation from a four-year college or university with major coursework in business or public administration or a closely related field; and three years of professional experience performing management and policy analysis, intergovernmental relations, grants management and similar program development responsibilities involving analysis and development of reports, presentations and other written materials; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Experience in a government or public utility setting is highly desirable.
