A multi-office law firm based in downtown Indianapolis seeks an experienced Systems Administrator (SA) to join the Firm’s Information Technology team. This position will focus on deployment and management of software delivery technologies, primarily SCCM, and use best practices to create efficiencies, improve user experience, and manage risk on 180+ devices across 13 cities.
Candidates should expect to provide technical support in the evaluation, installation, and monitoring of a distributed computing environment. As part of the IT team, candidate will be expected to interface with Firm users in the identification and resolution of computer system software problems as well as other daily support issues. They also should expect to participate in the development and maintenance of release management controls and standard installation and upgrade methodologies; identify opportunities and make recommendations to improve efficiency, performance and overall service; resolve inter-product dependencies; and prioritize and coordinate problem resolutions across the Firm, escalating as needed.
Computer Science or similar IT degree is preferred.
3+ years of work experience with SCCM required, with an emphasis on application deployment, software and operating system updating, and imaging development and deployment.
Experience with PowerShell, VBScript, and other scripting preferred.
Commitment to customer service and willingness to learn new products and technologies.
Excellent trouble shooting skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server queries a plus.
Additional Salary Information: Compensation for this position will be commensurate with experience.
