We are currently seeking a highly a highly motivated DESKTOP APPLICATIONS SPECIALIST in our Columbia office.
Assisting with supporting firm desktops and laptops in a Microsoft Windows 10 network.
End-User application support providing prompt, courteous and efficient support to all users.
Identify, research and resolve technical problems to final resolution.
Travel to all five offices to provide onsite support as needed.
Provide after hours and weekend support to end users on rotation with IT team.
Candidates should have the following skills and/or attributes:
Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field is required.
3 to 5 years Help Desk experience or Application Support, preferably in a law firm is required.
In depth knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
Working knowledge of document management software such as Interwoven/iManage and macro packages such as Payne Consulting.
Thorough knowledge and understanding of networked PC's and printers in a Microsoft network and the ability to efficiently troubleshoot technical problems.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to communicate both verbally and written with a diverse group of IT professionals, attorneys and staff.
