The paralegal will work directly with the firm’s managing attorney on complex, highly individualized immigration matters, including EB-1A, NIW, O-1, EB-5, asylum, and I-360 petitions. This is not a high-volume processing role; it requires strong writing, organization, judgment, and attention to detail for sophisticated, document-heavy filings.

Responsibilities include case preparation, document collection and review, drafting forms and supporting materials, petition assembly, deadline tracking, client communication, and general case coordination.

 Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with complex immigration filings, including NIW, EB-1A, O-1, EB-5, asylum, and I-360 cases
• Collect, review, organize, and track evidence for individualized, document-heavy matters
• Draft forms, support letters, factual summaries, chronologies, exhibits, cover letters, and petition packets for attorney review
• Communicate professionally with clients regarding background information, document requests, deadlines, filing requirements, and outstanding items
• Maintain electronic and physical case records, internal trackers, and filing deadlines
• Review filings and evidence for completeness, consistency, and quality control; handle sensitive client information with discretion and conduct basic legal or factual research as needed

Qualifications

• Immigration paralegal experience, including complex case preparation and client communication
• Strong writing, organization, attention to detail, independence, and sound judgment
• Ability to manage document-heavy, deadline-sensitive matters using standard office software and case management systems
• Experience with extraordinary ability, NIW, investor, or humanitarian filings strongly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal credentials.
