The Immigration Program Manager will be responsible for providing overall support relating to Global Corporate Immigration matters. The immigration Program Manager provides backup to the Associate Director of Global Immigration as needed and assists in the day-to-day operations and management of the Global Immigration team.
This is a 3-4 month contract assignment and will be located on-site in Minneapolis, MN.
Assist with the coordination of all Global Corporate Immigration Matters.
Coordinate administrative workflow by overseeing, prioritizing, and reviewing processes to meet deadlines and maximize efficiency.
Provide advice and guidance to the business, Human Capital partners and Talent Acquisition on immigration issues (such as timing of work permit, etc.).
Contribute with the development, implementation and change management of the Global Immigration Program and policies.
Document all immigration processes, procedures and governance that have been implemented in 2017 and 2018.
Assist the Associate Director of Global Immigration with reporting and data maintenance to ensure the planning, development and delivery of monthly and quarterly reports, including:
Immigration policy and procedures development.
Outsourced immigration support services.
Financial forecasting services.
Case production and financial reports.
Assist the Associate Director and Senior Director with complex and time-sensitive projects including audits, new country launches, data gathering, report generating, training, etc.
Assist the US Program Manager with the management of non-immigrant and immigrant case-work.
Assist with invoice processing.
Perform other duties, as assigned.
Minimum of 2 years' hands-on experience in US Immigration.
Minimum of 2 years' hands-on expreience in Global Immigration.
Minimum of 2-3 years of handling non-immigrant (H1-B, L-1, TN) and immigrant (PERM, I-140, I-485) cases, work authorization, permanent residency and immigration case management.
3+ years' experience in both domestic and global immigration matters, preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
Experience with high-volume immigration case management.
Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite, with Microsoft Excel experience required.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy and working with highly confidential data requiring 100% accuracy.
Exceptional customer service skills and proven ability to perform in fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and oral communication skills required, including the ability to handle sensitive matters with tact and diplomacy.
Excellent interpersonal, influencing and organizational skills required.
Strong commitment to high customer service and business results.
General business acumen, demonstrated analytical and creative thinking ability.
