Immediate opening for an Associate position – Specialized Immigration law firm in Sandy Springs/Perimeter area seeks dedicated experienced Immigration Attorney. Prior experience in Business Immigration is required. Work will focus on employment-based visas and labor-related immigration, as well as family-based immigration and naturalization matters. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English required. Spanish language skills are a plus.
Our firm serves a wide variety of corporate and individual clients worldwide. For individual clients, we customize immigration solutions for personal and business growth, international mobility, and for maintaining family unity through both nonimmigrant and immigrant strategies. On the corporate side we ensure that businesses - from publicly traded multinationals to one-owner start-ups - are able to meet their growth and staffing needs with appropriate visas and immigration strategies for professionals, investors, managers, and executives. Our practice is a marriage of corporate and family matters and our approach is to use both employment and family-based immigration strategies to meet our clients' needs. We are a high-quality, not a high-volume firm.
Seeking an Associate Attorney to work on a variety of primarily employment-based immigration matters. Projects would include PERM labor certifications, H-1B and L-1 petitions, E, O, and TN visas, immigrant visas and preparing clients for overseas consular interviews. Our firm also handles immigrant and nonimmigrant waivers of inadmissibility, DACA, and all types of family immigration matters. We do not handle any cases in immigration court, so litigation experience is not applicable to this opening. However, representing clients at USCIS interviews could be required.
Our employees work in a team environment, but autonomously. This position has excellent growth potential. As the firm is expanding, the Associate Attorney will mentor, train, and supervise other immigration staff. Our work environment is collegial, supportive, and fun.
We are looking for a team member who exhibits these required qualifications and characteristics:
Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school, admitted to practice law in the United States
Minimum of 2-years business immigration law experience with Bar membership required
