Wildes & Weinberg, PC seeks experienced immigration paralegal to work in its Midtown Manhattan office. As a key member of the litigation team, prepare and file submissions with USCIS and EOIR, including asylum, cancellation of removal, and waiver requests. Work closely with clients to gather necessary evidence to demonstrate the clients’ hardship, fear of returning to home country, and positive equities. Obtain clients’ criminal records, including dispositions, transcripts, judgements, and related materials. Draft forms, affidavits, letters, motions, and other legal correspondence for attorneys’ review. Perform research as to home country conditions and medical conditions of client and family members.
Requirements: Two to five years of paralegal experience within immigration litigation. Must possess high organizational skills, ability to handle high volume of cases, strong client management abilities and refined attention to detail. Candidate must be able to both work autonomously and work under attorney direction.
