We are seeking an attorney with three or more years of experience to join our Private Client Services practice in our Seattle office.

Job Responsibilities:

Attorneys who are part of our Private Client Services Team counsel clients on the full range of estate and gift planning, estate administration, family business governance and transition planning, family office services and dispute resolution matters. The team has extensive experience working with high net worth individuals and multi-generational families, including founders, owners and leaders of businesses and charitable organizations of all sizes.

Duties would include any or all of the following, under the supervision of a more senior attorney:

• The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in estate planning law and probate and trust administration.
• Candidate must be proficient at drafting estate plans, wills, trusts and related estate planning documents, including durable powers of attorney and health care directives; prenuptial, cohabitation and property status agreements; partnership, LLC and buy-sell agreements; and experience with federal and state tax planning, including modeling and calculating estate and gift taxes and related gift planning techniques, and reviewing estate and gift tax returns.
• Trust and estate fiduciary litigation experience is a plus.
• A Washington Bar license required and a LL.M in taxation or estate planning is preferred.
