A Queens NY based Law Firm is seeking a Litigation Coordinator to oversee preparation of documents, timely filings, maintaining deadlines in immigration removal defense and appellate litigation cases.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum 5 Years of litigation and federal appellate experience, substantively focused on immigration law. The candidate should also be detail oriented, organized, a team player, passionate about immigration law and dedicated to the job. The successful candidate may be expected to travel as needed to fulfill the Litigation Coordinator functions.
In coordination with the Staff Attorneys & Managerial Supervisor , the Litigation Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the timely filings in all removal and appeal cases.
Qualifications
BA from a US University.
Minimum 5 Years experience working in a law firm (preferably immigration law) in a similar position.
Good drafting & writing skills.
Experience & understanding of E-filing & Paper Filings.
Experience and & understanding of various statutory/regulatory deadlines.
