Zwaik, Gilbert & Associates, a well- established and leading law firm in Suffolk County, Long Island, seeks an attorney with a minimum of 3 years' experience in all aspects of business immigration law to manage and further develop our business immigration department. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the region's premiere immigration firms with a robust flow of business immigration cases.
Applicant must have strong experience in employment-based nonimmigrant (E-2, L-1, H-1B, O-1) and immigrant visas (EB-1, EB-2, EB-3, PERM, AOS and Consular Processing). Experience with or the willingness to learn H-2B process is ideal.
The business immigration associate will report directly to the firm's principal attorney and will be responsible for all matters assigned to them as the head of business immigration. This role will support and mentor a team of law clerks, paralegals and legal assistants.
As the firm prides itself on being one of the few firms on Long Island to offer a full array of immigration services, this position may also assist in family-based cases and naturalization matters as needs dictate.
Must be licensed and in good standing to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
Minimum of 3 years counseling and representing clients in all aspects of business immigration law.
