 Coordinate with outside legal counsel as necessary for high level reviews and meetings. 
 Perform legal research as needed. 
 Maintain electronic legal files (i.e., correspondence, trademarks, contracts, etc.) 
 Resolve routine legal issues, and draft any notices, demand letters, or other basic legal documents. 
 File annual renewals with various State agencies in regards to charitable solicitations. 
 Work with AMA Delegation (i.e., schedule meetings, send out notifications to Delegates and others received from the AMA, prepare minutes, etc.) 
 Perform other clerical duties to support the Paralegal/Contract Manager and Director of Leadership Services. 
 Who You Are: &#xa0; 
 
 a bachelor&#8217;s degree and/or relevant certification. 
 3 to 5 years of experience in an in-house legal department or a transactional law department at a law firm. 
 Strong contract review and drafting experience. 
 Time management and organizational skills. 
 Above average interpersonal, communication and writing skills. 
 Excellent computer skills, and proficient with Windows applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 
 Must be willing to work occasional nights and weekends and have the ability to travel as needed. 
 Experience filing documents with various State agencies, preferable. 
 Experience working with the American Medical Association (AMA), preferable.
