Mendez Law Office, PLLC is an established, fast-growing bilingual firm in Houston looking to add an associate attorney to our litigation team. We serve a predominantly Spanish-speaking community in immigration, federal habeas corpus, criminal defense, and personal injury matters, and our federal docket is expanding quickly.
This is a role for an attorney who wants real courtroom and litigation experience early and often. You will handle your own matters, appear in court, and work alongside a team that has represented hundreds of families in federal proceedings across all four Texas federal districts and the Fifth Circuit.
What we’re looking for:
• Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas or other jurisdiction.
•Preference for Fluency in Spanish and English (our clients depend on it but we also use translators if necessary)
•Comfortable in court and ready to carry a caseload
•Organized, responsive, and able to manage deadlines independently
•2+ years of experience preferred, though we will consider strong newer attorneys
